Dr. Khaled Elshuraydeh, the Secretary General of the Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST), met the German Julich Research Center Delegation during their visit to Jordan to discuss areas of mutual interest between the two entities. The two sides proposed signing S&T cooperation agreement, to fund research projects, research visits and possibly PhD programs in the field of Solar Energy, Earth and Environment, Health, Nano-biotechnology, and information and communication technologies.

Programme managers of the National Centre for Research and Development (NCRD), attended the meeting; they briefed the members of delegation about their programs, their plans and achievements.

In turn, Prof. Dr. Sebastian Schmidt, Head of Delegation, expressed their pleasure in working with the Higher Council for Science and Technology. The two parties agreed to further communicate in order to proceed in signing S&T cooperation agreement.
