The General Secretariat of The Higher Council for Science and Technology has the pleasure to announce the following winning projects of "El Hassan Bin Talal Award for Scientific Excellence" which is allocated this year to Institutions of Higher Education (excluding technical education):

1. The first award (7000 JD) is granted to the Jordan University of Science and Technology for its Project "Initiating and Developing a Referral Diagnostic Laboratory for Transboundary Animal Diseases, and Abortive and Neonatal Diseases".

2.The second award (5000 JD) is shared between Petra University for its project "Development of oral insulin delivery system, and the University of Jordan for its project "Cell Therapy Center".

3. The third award (3000 JD) is shared between the Hashemite University for its project "The University Academic Nursery", and the Al-Hussein Bin Talal University for its project " The role of Petra College for tourism and archaeology in uncovering and introducing the cultural heritage of Jordan".

The number of applicants for this award was (25) representing (14) institutions of  higher education.

The winners will be honored at the award ceremony, which will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan Bin
