Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal-Chairman of the Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST) – The General Secretariat of the Higher Council (HCST) held El Hassan Bin Talal Award for Scientific Excellence Ceremony.  Winners of the award   were honored on Thursday, 23/04/2015 at the Royal Cultural Center and allocated this year for higher education institutions with the exception of technical education.

The award results were as follows:

• First prize value is (7000) seven thousand dinars, was awarded to the Hashemite University for its “education center and examination of clinical skills in the College of Human Medicine
• Second prize value is (5000) five thousand dinars was awarded to the German Jordanian University for its “study of natural and cultural heritage center
• Third prize value is (3000) three thousand dinars to Yarmouk University for its “Project for the Jordanian Dead Sea Scrolls
• The number of requests submitted to the Office of the General Secretariat of the Higher Council were (25) projects from (12) institutions dedicated to higher education.
