The General Secretariat of The Higher Council for Science and Technology has the pleasure to announce the following winning projects of “El Hassan Bin Talal Award for Scientific Excellence” which is allocated this year to Institutions of Vocational & Technical Education:

•  The first award (7000 JD) is granted to Vocational Training Corporationfor its three projects:

1. Master plumber program.
2. Hospitality and tourism training programs.
3. Enhancement of women participation in the labour market.

•  The second award (5000 JD) is granted to Al-Huson University College for its project “Al-Huson Career Development Centre- an innovative cluster in technical and vocational education”.

•  The third award (3000 JD) is granted to Wadi Seer Training Center-UNRWA for its project “Elevator Installation and Maintenance Program”.The number of projects for the award received by the award office in the general secretariat of the Higher Council for Science and Technology is (12) submitted by (6) Vocational & Technical Education institutions. The winners will be honored at the award ceremony, which will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan Bin Talal- President of The Higher Council for Science and Technology- on Thursday, April 11th, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Royal Cultural Centre.
