Awards Granted:

The 1996 Award was dedicated to general education institutions as follows:

-    The first Award was conferred on the Baccalaureate School for its Activity, Service and Creation Program.

-    The second Award was withheld.

-    The third was granted to Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation for the translation of The Normal Child

The 1997 Award was dedicated to institutions of  higher education as follows:

-    The first Award was withheld.

-    The second was granted to the University of Jordan for its program on communicating with Industry.

-    The third Award was shared between the UNRWA Educational Science College in Amman for the Mathematic Questions Bank, and the University of Yarmouk/Islamic Numismatics Department for valuable information concerning numismatics published in the Yarmouk Magazine for Numismatics.

The 1998 Award was granted to vocational and technical institutions as follows:

-    The first Award was withheld.

-    The second was granted to the Vocational Training Corporation for their project on Developing Support Services For Small and Medium Scale Enterprises

-    The third Award was granted to the Ministry of Education for their project on Assembly of an Electronic Trainer.

The 1999 Award was dedicated to institutions  of  general education as follows:

-    The first award was conferred upon the Learning Resources Center/General Education Directorate, Irbid, for its School Laboratories Project.

-    The Second Award was conferred upon the General Directorate of Curricula/ Ministry of Education for the Inclusion of the Population Education Concepts in the Curricula and Textbooks in Basic Education.

-    The third Award was withheld.

The award for 2000 was granted to institutions of higher education as follows:

-    The first Award was withheld.

-    The second Award was conferred on Mu’tah University for its project on social productivity of Training program.

-    The Third Award was with held.

The committee also commended the University of Jordan “Community Service” project, and the Princess Sumaya University College for Technology “Early Learning System for Children at Home” project for their innovative  and inspiring ideas.

However in both cases, the committee agreed that as these projects had not yet been fully tested, they did not meet the full award criteria. The committee recommended that both projects be tested for their feasibility in order to compete in the future. Toward that end, the Higher Council for Science and Technology General Secretariat decided to grant each of the two projects JD 1,000 to help them conduct the feasibility studies.

The award for 2001 was granted to institutions of vocational and technical education as follows:

-    The first Award was with held.

-    The second Award was shared between the Vocational and Training Corporation for the project “VTC Experiment in Designing Training Programs with CBE Method, Occupational Health and safety, in cooperation from the Private Sector” and the Prince Faisal Technical College for the project “Vocational Training Programme”

-    The third Award was conferred upon “Al--Balqa Applied University” for the project “The Engineering Curricula for the Associate Degree Technical Education”.

The Award for 2002 was granted to institutions of general education as follows:

-    The First Award was conferred on the Ahliyyah School for girls, for its project on “The Ahliyyah School for Girls as a Learning Institution.”

-  The second Award was conferred on the Islamic Education College, for their project on “Reference Material for the Library Educational Curriculum.”

-  The third Award was shared between the Fuheis Latin secondary school for the project “Training and Advice for the Local community on the optimal Domestic use of water”, and the Amman Baptist school on the project “Be an Inventor”.

The Award for 2003 was granted to institutions of  higher education as follows:

-  The first Award was withheld.

-  The second Award was shared between the University of Jordan for the project “Development and production of Rubidium Lamps and cells”, and the Jordan University for Science and Technology for the project “Nutritious Baby Cereal food production in Jordan”.

-  The Third Award was shared between the Al-Balqa’ Applied University for the project “Technology Transfer and Implementation of Injection and Blow Molding Techniques”, and Princess Sumaya University for Technology for the project “Development of E-learning Solutions for Engineering and Scientific Fields”.

The Award for 2004 was granted to institutions of vocational & technical education as follows:

-  Tthe first Award was conferred on the Princess Sarvath Community College for its project entitled “Learning difficulties project”.

-  The Second Award was shared between the Al-Hussun College for its project entitled “The role of the college in the development of the local community and in the advancement of vocational and technical education in Jordan”, and the Vocational Training Corporation for the project entitled “The role of the (VTC) in controlling and eliminating poverty and unemployment”.

-  The third Awrd was shared between  the Laboratory Center/ Ministry of Education for “The manufacture of a robot capable of moving photocells and thermal collectors to make use of solar energy”, and the Institute of Banking Studies for “The Development of the training and academic programs of the Institute”.

The Award for 2005 was granted to institutions of general education as follows:

- The first Award was conferred on the Centre of Educational Excellence and the Jubilee School for the project entitled “King Hussein Science Garden”.

-  The Second Award was shared between Jubeihah High School for Girls- Ministry of Education for the project entitled “At-Risk Children between dropouts and beggers” and Al-Dur Al-Manthour for the project entitled “The School that we want” .

- The third Award was also shared between Islamic Scientific College for the project “Student’s Curriculum for Success and Excellence”, and Baqa’a High School for Girls for the project “Book Binding & School Garden.”.

The Award for 2006 was granted to institutions of the higher education as follows:

-     Splitting the First Award equally between two projects, namely, “Faculty For Factory (FFF)” project of University of Jordan, and “Research and Development Unit in e-learning and e-business (MEDFORIST)” project of Princess Sumaya University for Technology.

-     Splitting the Second Award between two institutions; Yarmouk University for the project “Education diploma in Information and Communication Technology”, and Jordan Academy of Music for the project “Music curricula, grades from sixth until tenth”.

-     Splitting the Third Award between two institutions; Jordan University of Science and Technology for the project “Princess Haya Biotechnology Centre” and University of Jordan for the project “The Doctor of Philosophy program in nursing”.

The award for 2007 was granted to institutions of vocational and technical education.

-     The first award was withheld.

-     The second award was equally shared by the Royal Medical Services College for Allied Health Professions for its project "Paramedics Program", and Queen Noor Civil Aviation Technical College for its project "Trainer Program, Course Development Unit".

-     The third award was equally shared by the Baptist School for its project "Establishing Hotel Management Vocational Stream", and Burhan Kamal School for its project "Educational Electronic Training Device".

The award for 2008 was granted to  institutions of general education as follows:.

-     The first award was equally shared by Al-Dur Al-Manthur Secondary School for its project "Enjoyable Learning", and Al-Shayma'a Bint Al-Harith School for its project "Design of a Website for the School".

-     The second award was equally shared by AL-Jofa Secondary School for Girls for its project "Providing Awareness to Parents and Local Community on the Value of Vocational Skills and Employment", and the National Orthodox School for its project "The Vocational Workshop".

-     The third award was equally shared by The Pioneer Center for Distinguished Students – Rusaifa for its project "Paper Recycling", and The Pioneer Center for Distinguished Students – Irbid for its project "Global Learning and Observation to Benefit the Environment".

The award for  2009 was granted to institutions of higher education as follows:

-     The first Award was shared between Princess Sumaya University for Technology for its achievement of high ranks among the students of King Hussein College, and  The Department of Nutrition and Food Technology/College of Agriculture/University of Jordan for its achievements and excellence in research areas related to the development, standardization, documentation and improvement of the quality of traditional Jordanian foods.

-     The second Award was shared between the Road Safety Center for Excellence of the German Jordanian University for its achievements in  Road Safety Auditing, and The College (School) of Architecture and Built Environment of the German – Jordanian University for its adoption of the elements of excellence and innovation in its academic programs through considering the student as the center of the educational process.

-     The third Award was also shared between Center for Civil Society Development/Jordan University of Science and Technology  (established in 2002) for enhancing the efforts of the university in achieving scientific and academic excellence through boosting the capabilities of the university and the local community;, and  the College of Nursing Jordan University for its achievements in the cultural and international cooperation programs through which the college has hosted a number of professors and nursing students.

The award for 2010 was granted to institutions of vocational and technical education as follows:

-   The first award was shared between The Directorate of Public Security for the Project "Center for Development and Training within Correctional and Rehabilitation Centers, and the Directorate of Civil Defense for it's project "The Role of the Center for Civil Defense in the Enhancement of – Practical Emergency and Amulace Services.

-   The Second award was granted to The Vocational Training Corporation for it's Project "Incorporating New Technologies in the Training Process.

-   The Third was divided equally between Ma'an Secondary Comprehensive Vocational School for Girls for it's project on "The Optimal Exploitation of Available Potentail for Training Children with Special Needs in Life Skills", and the Wasfi El Tal Secondary Industrial School for Boys for the project "Computerized Television Reception Training".

The award for 2011 was granted to  institutions of general education (excluding vocational education) as follows:.

-     The first award was granted to the Jubilee School" for their project "National Educational Centre for Robotics, NECR".

-     The second award was granted to The Amman Baptist School for their project "The Development of the First Comprehensive School Music Program in the Middle East".

-     The third award was equally divided between The Amman Baccalaureate School for their project "The personal Project", and The National Orthodox School for their project "The English Language Teaching Conference".

The award for 2012 was granted to  institutions of higher education (excluding technical  education) as follows:.

-    The first award was granted to the University of Jordan for its two projects “Achievements of Hamdi Mango Center for Scientific Research”, and "Pharmacy Faculty of Excellence".

-    The second award was equally divided between: The German-Jordanian University for its two projects “The Diploma Program for visual rehabilitation”, and “Energy, Water and Environment Engineering and management Programs”. And Princess Sumaya University for Technology for its project “Master of Science in Information Systems Security and Digital Criminology (ISSDC)”.

-    The third award was equally divided between: Yarmouk University for its project “The Experience of Hijjawi Faculty for Engineering Technology in Bridging the Gap Between Engineering Curricula and Market Needs”, and Jordan University of Science & Technology for its Project “The Establishment of the First Program of Clinical Pharmacy in Jordan".

The award for 2013 was granted to institutions of vocational and technical education as follows:

-   The first award was granted to Vocational Training Corporation for its three projects:

1. Master plumber program.
2. Hospitality and tourism training programs.
3. Enhancement of women participation in the labour market.

-    The second award was granted to Al-Huson University College for it’s project  “Al-Huson Career Development Centre- an innovative cluster in technical and vocational education”.

-    The third award was granted to Wadi Seer Training Center-UNRWA for its project “Elevator Installation and Maintenance Program”.

The award for 2014 was granted to institutions of general education (excluding vocational education) as follows:.

-    The first award shared between Pioneer Center for Gifted Students, Alkorah Directorate, Irbid, for the project “Chemistry and Narrowband Applications and Fuel Cell Mini-eco-Friendly and Low-cost” and Omareyh School, for the project “Developing Learning Project “ The Story of Success and Distinction”.

-    The second award shared between Jubilee School for the project “The First and Distinguished Model That Caters For Talented Education in Jordan and the Arab Region” and Abu Baker Al-Sediq Comprehensive Secondary School for Boys for the project “Oyster Mushroom- Pleutorus Ostrcatus-Project in Abu Baker Al-Sediq Secondary School”.

-    The third award shared between and Islamic Education College School for Boys- Jabal Amman for the project “Using Multiple Intelligences and the Various Learning Styles in Teaching 10^th Grade Students and Applying Them in Classroom”and Modern Systems Schools for the project “Recycling Ground Coffee” and Quds Secondary School for Girls for the project “The Art of Teaching- Learning Packages”.

The award for 2015 was granted to institutions of higher education (excluding technical  education) as follows:

-   The first award was granted to The Hashemite University for its project “Clinical Skills Education and Testing Centre”.

-   The second award was granted to The German Jordanian University for its project “Centre for the Study of Natural and Cultural Heritage”.

-   The third award was granted to The Yarmouk University for its project “The Jordanian Dead Sea Scrolls Project”.

The award for 2016 was granted to institutions of vocational and technical education as follows:

-  The first award is granted to Jordan Applied University College of Hospitality and Tourism Education for its project “Institution  success  story.”.

-   The second award is granted to Vocational Training Corporation, for its projects “Development, implementation and accreditation of a professional vocational Diploma Program for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, in accordance with international standards, to meet domestic and international labor market requirements/ Pharmaceutical Centre of Excellence”, and "Development, implementation and evaluation programs of wastewater treatment units supervisor and drinking water purification units supervisor/ Water and Environment Institute of Excellence".

-   The third award is shared between Arwa Bint Abdul Muttalib Comprehensive Secondary School for Girls - Al Karak for its project "Entajuna, our Production", and Wadi al sear Training Centre for its project "Domestic electrical devices maintenance".
