Enhancement of Jordan-European S&T Partnership Project “EU-JordanNet” is the first bilateral project funded by the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) under the Capacities Programme.

EU-JordanNet aims at carrying out a major S&T awareness and cooperation campaign on FP7 in Jordan addressing Jordanian researchers and the private industry. It focuses on three thematic areas: Health, ICT and Environment. To this end, ICT workshop was conducted at the Higher Council for Science and Technology - Amman during 26 – 28 September/ 2011 to achieve the following objectives:

• Day 1:  Creating Awareness of the possibilities of R&D Cooperation in FP7.
• Day 2: Training on Proposal Writing. This day aims at understanding how to turn an idea into a proper proposal, meeting the objectives described in the work programme.
• Day 3: Creating Partnerships. The last day is a brokerage-type of event aiming at establishing concrete contacts between Jordanians and Europeans.
